A Guitar Pro file (.gp, .gp3–.gp5, .gpx) or MusicXML (.musicxml, .mxl). It is read here, in your browser, and never uploaded.

Lagrima by Francisco Tarrega, for two guitars (arranged by J. J. Olson). Public domain.

Or drop a file anywhere on this window.

Batch Mirror

Pick several Guitar Pro or MusicXML files (.gp, .gp5, .gpx, .mxl and so on). Each one with a guitar or bass part downloads as a .lefty.gp file with the string order and tuning reversed together, so every pitch stays the same.

Pedal keys

A page-turner pedal sends ordinary keys. Choose what each one does in stand mode. Kept on this device.

Transcribe audio

Score files never leave this computer. The recording you choose goes only to a transcription engine you run on this computer (127.0.0.1).

  1. Install uv (the tool that runs the engine). Instructions are on the engine's project page.
  2. Accept the model licence on the model page, then in a terminal run hf auth login and sign in with that same account. Without both, the engine cannot download the model, prints an error when it starts and never answers.
  3. In a terminal, run uvx muscriptor serve --model small. Leave that window open. On a laptop CPU with the small model and the instrument set, expect about 2x the audio length.
